Welcome to PBM new website!
 Pacific Badminton Management (pBm) has identified badminton as one of the sports in which the local players can excel internationally. Hence, pBm started a pilot project based on a long term badminton training program together with the Sarawak Badminton Association (SBA) in February, 2005. Today, this group of players has become quite skillful and some has make it to the state team.
 A Rare Opportunity Indeed! The Malaysian national badminton team, both singles and doubles players came to Kuching for their mental toughness camp on 30th Jan to 2nd Feb (singles camp) and 5th to 8th Feb, 2009 (doubles camp).

SUKMA Selection 2010 Results6th & 7th March, 2009
The Sarawak SUKMA badminton selection took place in SBA Hall, Jalan Airport, Kuching and over 20 selected top players from Sarawak under the age of 23 yrs old, took part in the singles & doubles selections.
Mens Singles Under 23 yrs old Champion - V.X.Wei (21) SBA Runner up - Jong Wee Fook (16) pBm
Mens Doubles Under 23 yrs old Champion - Andy Ng (17) / Lai Zing Neng (17) pBm Runner up - Roni Tan (18) / Tan Hin Loke (21) pBm
The above winners/players, 1 from SBA and 5 from pBm will form the Sarawak Sukma badminton team and the reserve, if any, will be announced in a couple of days by Sarawak BA.

28th to 31st December, 2009
Malaysian top junior players from a total of 14 states took part in this final national junior inter team tournament for the year 2009. 
In the final, Selangor state beat Pulau Pinang state and emerged as the champion team.
In this team event there were 11 matches in one tie - under 12, 15 & 18 boys & girls singles and doubles and finally a mixed double.
Our Sarawak state sent a team of 12 players (5 from pBm) and finished 3rd in group matches. Only the group champion team were selected to play knock-out semi-final then final & 3rd/4th placing
Sarawak team first match was against mighty Pulau Pinang which has 6 or 7 Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS) players and was beaten 1-10, follow by Kedah 4-7 but beat Kelantan 9-2.
A look at the players score on the matches lost shows the point was quite close considering most of the players were first timer in this national circuit tournament.

pBm trainees were all invited to Hartz Chicken in Sarawak Plaza for the last treat for the year 2009 - this was for the performance they have given during the Sabah aged group tournament (Kejohanan Badminton Tertutup Remaja Sabah Siri-2 dan Jemputan 2009).
There were team work and quite a lot of improvement from the players particularly those who went for the first time to play in a stadium!
